Feel good movies:

1- Little women (2019)

Jo March is a feminist writer who lives in New York, while her sister Amy studies art in Paris. Amy had a fortuitous meeting with Theodore/Laurie, a childhood crush who proposed to Jo but was turned down. Meg, their oldest sibling, is married to a teacher, while Beth, their timid sister, suffers from a life-threatening illness that draws the family back together.

2- 10 things I hate about you (1999)

Kat Stratford is an anti social teenager who very few of her classmates like. She likes to focus on school, therefore does not have time for boyfriends. Unfortunately for her sister Bianca, their father has a rule that says that Bianca can’t date until Kat does; so Bianca comes up with a plan to set her up with Patrick Verona.

Action movies:

1- Ocean's eight (2018)

Debby Ocean has been put in prison for 5 years, 8 months and 12 days, in which she was able to come up with a plan for the biggest heist of her life. She formed a team of seven women: Lou, Constance, Nine Ball, Rose, Amita, Tammy and herself. Each of them with a skill that contributed to the fruition of the plan: stealing a 150 million dollar necklace from Cartier called the Toussaint off of the neck of celebrity Daphne Kluger at the MET gala.

thrillers/ horror:

1- It (2017)

Seven teenagers are forced to face a terrifying evil that attacks the town of Derry every 27 years. It has the power to shape-shift into the children’s biggest fear. The friends have to learn to face their fears and confront the evil creature and defeat it to stop it from attacking others in the town

2- Coraline (2009)

Coraline discovers a secret door in the new house that her family recently moved into, that leads to an alternate reality that is almost identical to her own. She goes through that door every night and has dinner with her Other Mother and Other Father, but she quickly realises that although that reality seemed much better than her own on the surface, it was in fact a horrible place. Her Other Parents try to keep her there, but she must fight them and return to her real parents before it is too late.

3- the shining (1980)

Jack takes a job as caretaker of a hotel over the winter, where he moves in with his wife Wendy and his son Daniel, in hopes of curing his writer's block. Jack, after no success, explores the hotel and unleashes his inner homicidal maniac and attempts to murder his family.

movies based on novels:

1- The Harry Potter series (2001-2011)

A young Orphan named Harry Potter discovers that he is a wizard and is invited to attend the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he meets his best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The trio liked to go on adventures and fight off monsters that threatened life at school. He eventually is forced to face the greatest evil known to the Wizarding World in an epic battle to the death.

2- Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children (2016)

A boy named Jake discovers a school named ‘Miss Peregrine’s school for peculiar children’ (after chasing clues his grandfather left him) which is a home to many children with odd powers. He gets to know the residents, and learns about their dangerous enemies. He realises that the longer he stayed there, the more danger he is in. He will also find out that his own peculiarity is crucial for the fight ahead of them.

3- The hunger games series (2012-2015)

The hunger games is set in the country of Panem, which is separated into 12 districts and a Capitol. All the richest citizens live in the capitol, while the poorer ones are forced to live in the districts. Every year, the capitol hosts a ‘hunger games’ which is a game where they pick two players from each district to fight to the death in an arena for the entertainment of the residents of the Capitol.

Marvel Movies:

1- Spider-man: No Way Home (2021)

The whole world has just found out Spider-man's true identity and believes he is a villain. He hopes to solve this problem with the help of Dr. Strange and his friends Ned and MJ. But they accidentally tamper with the multiverse and draw in all kinds of people from other timelines.

"with great power comes great responsibility"

(I recommend watching all Spider-man movies before)

2- Avengers: Infinity war (2018)

The infinity stones are the most powerful sources of energy in the universe. Thanos is a villain with a goal to wipe out half of the universe to 'restore balance' using the stones; while the avengers (a group of superheroes on earth) try to stop him.

3- Thor Ragnarok (2017)

Thor and Loki of Asgard discover they have a sister, Hela who their father has kept a secret from them. Hela is seeking revenge on her family. While fighting her, Thor and Loki end up on a forgotten planet . They reunite with the Hulk and try to escape the planet to save their home and bring down Hela.
